Hair Product line Darling Kenya will tomorrow provide hair wigs worth Sh1.6 million to cancer survivors.
The firm has partnered with Kenya Cancer Association to provide the wigs to the survivors hailing from different parts of the Country.
Over 50 per cent of women undergoing cancer treatment lose their hair as a side effect and wigs play a great role in their self-esteem during the process.
The World Health Organization estimates that the number of global cancer deaths is projected to increase by 45 per cent between 2008 and 2030.
