Microsoft to Acquire LinkedIn for $26.2 Billion

Ealier today, Microsoft announced that it will acquire LinkedIn for $26.2 Billion in an all-cash deal.

LinkedIn will retain its brand, culture and independence but the CEO will have to report to Microsoft’s CEO, Satya Nadella.

With 433 Million users, LinkedIn has faced challenges in the recent past over as a result of slow growth which affected its share prize.
