Tecno Mobile, is paying keen attention to the Kenyan Market, and you can all bet with me, that today, at least 1 in every 3 people have a Tecno device.
It’s less than a month after they launched Tecno Boom J8 phone, and now the brand is back with a new tablet DroiPad 8II which is set to be launched in two weeks time or less!
I have to confess that among other tablets, this one is an outstanding device due to its amazing features that will make you not resist its purchase.
Something good again; once launched it will be available across all retail stores in the country. The unfortunate part is that the device will not be available at Safaricom shops.
To begin with, it’s a dual sim tablet with each slot having a unique feature. One slot (sim 1) is set aside for the Standard sim while the second one (sim2) is set aside for a Micro sim. This gives the user a choice of what sim they want to use in what slot.
What’s dual again?
The stereo speakers and the Dual-band Wi-Fi!
Tecno DroiPad 8II being the fourth tablet to be launched in Kenya by Tecno after the DroiPad 7Cs, DroiPad 8H, WinPad10 will be the first to run on 4G/LTE internet connection.
The tablet has an 8-inch IPS LCD display which gives the users a wider and clearer view of content making it fun to view pictures, watch movies and play games.
In addition, in terms of views and graphics, the tablet operates on a Mali T720 GPU to provide exceptional graphic taste.
Talking of games and videos, one can save enough of them in the inbuilt storage of 16GB. The device is fast as it runs on a 1GB RAM. It is also power-driven by a quad core processor clock frequency of 1.3GHz.
Running on Android 5.1(Lollipop), Tecno DroiPad 8II comes with a back camera of 5 megapixels with LED flash, and for the lovers of Selfies and video calls, there is a 2 megapixel front camera.
So how long can you stay powered on?
DroiPad 8II comes with 5000mAh which can take you more than 24 hours while using it, but of course not while multitasking on heavy apps and browsing.
Indeed DroiPad 8II is one tablet that Tecno has really invested on in terms of power because it carries along a travel adapter, reverse charger & OTG adapter meaning you can charge on both a 2 or 3 pin socket depending on your preference.
Honestly speaking, Tecno is giving us more for less, as it is now, the tablet is expected to go for at least Ksh.18, 000, where on earth do you get this!
Let’s leave this for the tablet comparison segment coming soon.
In less than a few days, I shall be back with a full review and experiences of this tablet, Tecno Droipad8II, keep it Biznews!
