Top selling Start-up entrepreneurs are set to receive free exhibition tickets at the Kenya Homes Expo to be held at the KICC next week.

This is with a purpose of boosting start-ups within the housing sector.

“Our aim is to show small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) currently grappling with the high cost of marketing that there exist inexpensive promotion tools they can exploit’’ said Daniel Ojijo the Expo Co-founder.

Ojijo confirmed that beginning with this edition, any start up that makes the highest sale by customer numbers, will always receive a free stand in the following edition.

Speaking under this year’s theme “Ignite your creativity” he noted that there is need for such an empowerment since estimates show that 75 percent of new businesses fail within their first three years.

The expo has over the last ten years grown from 40 to over 200 exhibitors taking part in each edition.

In this regard, Miale Furniture limited CEO Nancy Gwaro has lauded the empowerment move by the expo management siting that it creates an excellent platform for entrepreneurs who would like to introduce themselves into the market.

The expo is expected to depict innovative ideas and concepts that will be showcased at the expo.
