Regal Equipment limited are the official dealers of Hyundai Heavy Industries in the country. This comes after an official appointment by the industry, in a bid to increase its markets in motor trade across the region.
In regard to the appointment the motor industry general manager Sun Seog said Kenya is fundamental in its expansion plans as it is the leading economy in East Africa.
“Kenya has shown great potential for growth in the construction and mining indutries and hence our choice to invest in it” added Seog
He further noted its strategic location plus a well developed business infrustructure as a convinving factor hence allowing for faster penetration in the region.
Increased mining interests have also offered a great opportunity for the Heavy Industry machinery with various counties tapping into existing resources for growth and development.
On the other hand, Peter D’ Costa, the Managing Director Regal Equipment LTD expressed his trust that with these opportunities the company is eyeing at attaining 30% market share by the end of this year and 50% within the next 3-5 years.
“We anticipate being the top machine solution providers for all infrastructural and extracting developments in the region.” He stated
Through the Hyundai Heavy Industries dealership, hundreds of job opportunities will be created in the country and across borders.
